John,
I want to start by saying thank you. This was a difficult election year, but we came together, rose above the divisive fear-mongering, and won.
We defied the odds and grim forecasting from every pundit and pollster in the country because of this campaign, and I couldn’t be more grateful.
We have a lot to be proud of, but there is so much more work ahead of us. It’s critical that we hit the ground running in the New Year, and that starts with reaching our end-of-year budget target tonight.
Our deadline is at 11:59 pm, and according to our fundraising team, we’re still more than $20,000 short of our goal. Will you rush a quick contribution of $5, $10, $25, or more to help us climb back before we run out of time?

With our state’s historic budget surplus, we have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make investments that will improve the lives of Minnesotans for generations to come. Governor Walz and I are fighting every day to seize it, but we can’t do it alone.
Our opponents haven’t gone anywhere. Dangerous and extreme Republicans are already signaling they’ll do whatever it takes to block the progress Minnesotans voted for on November 8.
That’s why we can’t afford to come up short tonight. If weak when our numbers are made public after the New Year, it will only embolden the MN GOP even more.
Governor Walz and I are counting on you, John. Please send a donation that works for you by midnight, so we can continue working together to build a brighter future for our state.

Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan have overcome unprecedented challenges to provide historic investments in education, create new, good-paying jobs, and increase access to health care. And with your help, they can defeat their extremist Republican opponents and continue to move our state forward, as one Minnesota. Can you pitch in $5 now to help them stop extremism and keep Minnesota in DFL hands?
