Give back where it matters ([link removed]) . Below is a snippet of what we’ve accomplished partnering with Indigenous Peoples across the world.
** Our top 10 achievements from recent years include:

1. In 2022, we celebrated our 50th year of service working toward fulfilling and securing Indigenous Peoples’ rights. Together with your support, we have built an Indigenous-led and majority women organization, with 33 staff based in 11 countries.
2. In 2021, we won a groundbreaking international legal suit against the Guatemalan government ([link removed]) in the Inter-American Court of Human Rights for the discrimination against Indigenous Peoples in telecommunications laws which violate Indigenous rights "to freedom of expression, equality before the law, and participation in cultural life."
3. We granted more than $2.5 million dollars ([link removed]) in the past five years to Indigenous communities to support an array of self-determined development, advocacy, and media projects through our Keepers of the Earth Fund and the Indigenous Community Media Fund.
4. In 2022, we launched the Securing Indigenous Peoples Rights in the Green Economy Coalition ([link removed]) to raise awareness about the impacts of mining for minerals that power the global transition to a green economy, and to hold companies accountable to human rights commitments to Indigenous Peoples throughout the supply chain.
5. We provided capacity building and training in radio production, journalism, land defense, human rights, communications, and leadership skills to over 248 Indigenous women ([link removed]) over the past five years.
6. We supported 82 Indigenous youth fellows in 16 countries through ourIndigenous Youth Fellowship ([link removed]) program since 2018.
7. We brought Indigenous rights violations to the attention of the international community through 114 reports ([link removed]) submitted to the United Nations regarding 56 countries.
8. In 2022, ourIndigenous Rights Radio ([link removed]) team attended COP27 in Sharm El Sheik and interviewed more than 40 Indigenous leaders and activists about their work in combating climate change.
9. In 2022, we informed over 3 million people about Indigenous issues via our award-winning Cultural Survival Quarterly ([link removed]) magazine, website ([link removed]) , and social media channels.
10. In the past six years, we generated over $1.7 million dollars in income for Indigenous artists through sales at the Cultural Survival Bazaars ([link removed]) to support their economic sovereignty and livelihoods.
