John — no one wants to be working on a Saturday, especially not when the Saturday is New Year’s Eve!
But sometimes our work is just way too important to ignore for even one day.
I woke up early to check on some preparations for our next march, including how we’re doing on end-of-year fundraising since I emailed you yesterday.
To put it bluntly, it’s not looking good.
It’s absolutely critical that we raise the final $20,873 towards our $200,000 goal before midnight tonight. John, we’ll have to make this our biggest fundraising day of the last few months.
I’m reaching out directly to our strongest supporters this morning because you’re our first line for resources when times get tough. You know that every dollar you give has a massive impact on our ability to organize, march, and drive feminist change. And you know that if we fall short, we have to cut back our plans.
