John,
AOC is refusing to play ‘politics as usual.’ Now she’s declining to pay the DCCC $250,000 in membership dues. She won’t support an arm of the Party that has chosen to blacklist progressives working for primary challengers. And she won’t back a DCCC that has endorsed pro-Trump, anti-choice, or pro-corporate candidates in competitive primaries.
It's time to usher in a new generation of diverse working class leaders into the Democratic Party. A Democratic Party that fights for its voters, not just corporate donors. That’s why we’re trying to raise $130,000 this month to help our insurgent, primary candidates as they take on the DCCC and establishment.
When we recruited Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to run for Congress in 2018, the establishment counted us out. But with your support we shocked the entrenched establishment and made history.
We’re quickly approaching our first primary election of 2020, where all of our work will be put to the test and we’ll go up against entrenched DCCC-backed incumbent: Henry Cuellar.
Now we have the chance to shock the entrenched establishment once again by electing eight more progressive leaders. But we need to reach every single fundraising goal that we set.
Thank you for your support!
