We’re only a few hours away from 2023, Team.

I know you’re preparing to celebrate and ring in the New Year, so I’ll keep this quick.

Michigan is on track to become an early nominating state in the presidential primary process. I’m proud of that fact because I know a large, diverse state like Michigan should have a say in future presidential nominees.

Here’s the thing. This means that Michigan will be an even bigger target on the GOP’s radar and special interest groups that fuel the GOP will pour millions of dollars into our state.

That’s why we need to prepare and we need to prepare now.

We need to kick off 2023 strong to continue building the programs and campaigns that flipped Michigan blue this year. But our fundraising numbers are not where they need to be right now.

Our critical FEC end-of-year fundraising deadline is at 11:59 PM tonight. Team MDP needs 142 Democrats to chip in and help us get back on track.
