John, I began working with Save the Children 14 years ago. I was worried about kids in need and determined to do everything I could to help – and I knew that Save the Children was the best organization to partner with to protect children.



I started in my home state of West Virginia, bringing early learning opportunities to children in rural areas. This year, I became more involved with Save the Children’s long-standing work in rural America when I traveled to eastern Kentucky, not far from where I grew up, to support communities impacted by devastating floods.



Now, I’m proudly joining their Get Fed Up initiative to address the hunger crisis here in the U.S. and across the world – and I’m hoping you will join me.



Helping millions of children confront hunger and other unimaginable hardships requires a global movement.
