Good Morning! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and pray the sense of joy and expectation the holidays bring continues into the new year. Before the year comes to a close, I am writing to ask you to partner with us one last time to share help and hope with suffering people in the toughest places. Matching funds are still available. As the world faces unprecedented humanitarian crises, your gift will provide ministry support to serve even more suffering people in 2023. Your donation will impact people in places like South Sudan. Years of civil war have displaced millions from their homes. Now the pandemic, drought, and the threat of famine have left even more people struggling to survive. Local staff teams work to provide lifesaving aid — and to share hope — in communities that need help most. Earlier this year they arrived at an orphanage just in time. The team brought meals and other critical aid for the children. One team member shared: We found the children waiting for us with joy in their faces. The manager told us that the food which was left in their store is the last meal for the children, and they have been praying for a miracle to happen. Right now you can be a part of the miracle of God’s provision. You can also be a part of the miracle of changed lives. In one Southeast Asian country where our staff members serve, many families struggle to access the basic items they need to survive. Local staff teams distributed meals — provided by people like you — to over 1,700 families. They built relationships with many people and had the opportunity to share the eternal hope of Jesus with more than 2,800 families. The team saw 1,271 people respond to the message of hope, and 103 new churches have been established. That is the difference your gift can make!
