Everything we do at MPV is aimed at advancing universal human rights values, and with the support of our individual donors,
that now includes:

1. Challenging misogynistic interpretations of Islam through our global #ImamsForShe network of nearly 500 individuals ( [link removed] ), a network that we are expanding as we seek to undermine the patriarchal structures that
continue to dominate every level of society from the ban on secondary and higher education for young women and girls in
Afghanistan to the limitations on the bodily autonomy of women in Iran and the United States.

2. Our Progressive Islam in Practice Series, which offers educational resources to the general public ( [link removed] ) and provides them with tools and information to advocate for some of the most pressing
human rights issues of our time.

3. And our expanded Marriage Services program, which offers interfaith couples of all backgrounds the chance to celebrate
their union, while incorporating the traditions of Islam ( [link removed] ), the only service of
its kind in the United States, and one of the few in the world.

Looking ahead to 2023, we hope to continue our good work by creating programs and resources that help to create a new
American Muslim culture for all to enjoy!
