Barbara is one of the most progressive members in all of Congress. Since Day One, she has been fighting for what's right -- even when it wasn't popular.

Back in 2001, Barbara cast the only vote against the Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF). She was labeled "anti-American" and vilified in the press. She received death threats and needed around-the-clock bodyguards.

But no matter what, Barbara stood by her vote.

The 2001 AUMF has given an unstable man like Trump unchecked power for endless war. We don't even want to imagine the damage Trump and his hawkish henchmen could cause if they recklessly drag us into war with Iran.
