Oooh, the new year is so close, we can almost taste it! It tastes like ... positivity, with strong notes of adventure and a subtle aroma of peace and healing. Even 2022, for all its ups and downs, had its positive moments, as evidenced by our "Good News Generator." Have a look if you haven't already, and see which uplifting stories grabbed your attention in 2022.
We're still very much in a holiday mood, so your regular Good Stuff will be back next week. In the meantime, as you look toward the exciting year ahead, we want to know what you want to see more of. What types of good news should we cover more of in the new year? What new features would you like to see? Email us here, and let's make the new year one that's full of Good Stuff.
If there's something you'd like to see here, drop us a line. Know someone who could use a little Good Stuff? Send them a copy! We hope you love it as much as we do.

Some thoughts to ring in the new year |
Always a night from old to new! Night and the healing balm of sleep! Each morn is New Year’s morn come true, Morn of a festival to keep. All nights are sacred nights to make Confession and resolve and prayer;
All days are sacred days to wake New gladness in the sunny air. Only a night from old to new; Only a sleep from night to morn. The new is but the old come true; Each sunrise sees a new year born.
- Helen Hunt Jackson, from her poem "New Year's Morning"

Nourish beginnings, let us nourish beginnings. Not all things are blest, but the seeds of all things are blest. The blessing is in the seed.
- Muriel Rukeyser, from her poem "Elegy in Joy" |
The past year recedes like
a chameleon's tongue— a miss,
I am not taken.
Before my mirror, wiped with
the nectaring newness of the year, I am the visage of a boy styling
his life into a poem, resolute
to say more, to do more,
like a semicolon;
- Bryan Okwesili, "Like a Semicolon"
