Each year in the United States, approximately 70,000 adolescents with autism leave high school and lose access to vital services. Most primary care physicians are unprepared to provide autism care to adults in need, creating an ever-growing challenge. That's why Dr. Brittany Hand, with your support, is researching and evaluating the care received by autistic adults to develop and share effective strategies to help doctors respond to their patients with autism.

Dr. Hand's goal is to "ultimately improve quality of care and health-related quality of life."
