2022 Ends With Great News From
Operation Milagro!
Dear John,
As you will see at this
LINK<[link removed]>, the data proves that Operation Milagro has reduced illegal fishing activity in the Zero Tolerance Area of the Vaquita Refuge by 72% from 2021 to 2022. That reduction means real hope for the future of Vaquita Porpoise, which is the world’s most endangered marine mammal.
Every single one of our supporters should be extremely proud of this.
Also, check out this End of Year video that summarizes our work together
HERE<[link removed]>. We continue to boost the impact Operation Milagro is having on the Vaquita Porpoise, welcomed new ships to our fleet, and just days ago
won a victory in the US Court of International Trade to protect Maui Dolphins<[link removed]>. The iconic Martin Sheen is getting upgrades as it prepares for its 2023 campaigns and the Seahorse will officially enter Operation Milagro in January 2023.
2022 was only possible because of your support and we are truly grateful to all those that have donated so generously to our Board’s $500,000 Matching Gift Challenge. If you have not yet had a chance to give, there’s still time left to support our critical work. Donate today
HERE<[link removed]>!
We are eager for 2023 and look forward to protecting some of the most fragile ecosystems on earth with you at our side.
