In just a moment, I’m going to ask you to make a contribution to the Democratic Governors Association before their crucial end-of-year deadline, but first, I want to talk about what is on the line in 2023.

Republicans are hell-bent on taking our country backward and stripping away reproductive healthcare, suppressing voting rights, and attacking our very democracy. Meanwhile, Democratic governors like me are fighting like hell to protect these fundamental rights.

In 2022, voters turned out in droves to elect Democratic governors across the country – in blue states, battleground states, and even red states. We notched historic wins from Wisconsin to Arizona to Maryland, and next year, our fight continues.

Winning in 2023 starts with meeting each and every grassroots fundraising goal, but to do that, we need you on our team: Races in battleground states like Kentucky and Louisiana – where Democratic governors are the last line of defense against GOP attacks on our most basic rights – are going to come down to the wire.

So the DGA has set an aggressive end-of-year goal of $100,000 to ensure they can help bridge the gap in battleground states, turn out voters, and protect Democratic governors nationwide. But their deadline is coming up fast, and they need you to step up.
