As a long-time People For supporter, I am grateful for their unshakeable commitment to protecting civil rights and liberties—holding right-wing extremists accountable for violence and insurrection, helping ensure teachers can do their jobs free from censorship and threats, and so much more.
I’m writing to you today asking you to also invest in this work at a critical moment: A gift of any size will be tripled, up to a grand total of $150,000, helping People For build on the momentum gained in 2022, and make continued strides on progressive issues in the new year.
The road ahead in 2023 is not easy. Trump is officially running for reelection. Members of the LGBTQ+ community are afraid to express their true selves and fear for their safety.
