Friends – We’re going to give you five quick reasons why [ [link removed] ]we’re
going to ask if you can pitch in $5 before our final FEC deadline of the
year before midnight tomorrow.

One: We’re the only organization in the United States working to elect
Democratic scientists and STEM professionals to office.

Two: While many organizations and PACs only focus on the House and Senate,
we make substantial investments in recruiting, training, and supporting
candidates at the local and state legislative levels (and it’s part of the
reason why Democrats flipped state chambers in Minnesota and Michigan).

Three: We’re 100% funded by individual donations. We don’t rely on
millionaires or six-figure checks – We rely on small-dollar donations and
our average donation is just $19!

Four: When we get involved, we make a difference. Our candidates flipped
the House in 2018 and the Senate in 2020. And as a result, there are more
scientists in office than at any point in modern history.

Five: We really depleted our resources this year working to defend House
Frontline members like Kim Schrier, re-elect pro-choice Governors like
Tony Evers, supporting Senate candidates like Mark Kelly and John
Fetterman, and building a historic bench of Democrats at the local and
state legislative level (endorsing hundreds! Of candidates!).

[ [link removed] ]We’re already laying the groundwork to defend the Senate, take back the
House, stop Donald Trump, and score major state legislative wins in
virtually every state. $5 might not sound like much, but if each of you
gave $5 ahead of our FEC deadline, we’d be able to invest millions in the
most consequential elections of 2023 and 2024!
