From responding to urgent needs following earthquakes in Indonesia to

Helala works as a midwife at a Mercy Corps-supported clinic in Yemen,
where conflict has damaged more than 50 percent of the country’s health
facilities. The clinic is the sole source of care for eight villages. She

Helala, a midwife, cares for pregnant women in Yemen by providing clinical
examinations and screenings, and supporting them during labor and birth.
