John,

I haven’t had the chance to introduce myself yet. I’m Henry and I’m the digital fundraising director at the Innocence Project.

It’s my job to keep track of year-end giving and make sure that we’re on pace to hit our fundraising goals — and with just one day left before the deadline, I may or may not be refreshing my browser every 10 minutes to see if any new donations have come in.

With a little more than 24 hours to go before our final deadline of the year, we’re still a little short of our goal, so right now every gift really matters.

Here’s what we have on file for your donor record, NAME. Please review it, then make a year-end gift to support the Innocence Project before tomorrow’s midnight deadline: [[link removed]]

So don’t wait any longer. Make a donation right now: [[link removed]]

Thank you so much,

Henry Decker

P.S. If you’ve already donated to support our year-end fundraising campaign, thank you! Your gift may not yet be reflected in our records, but rest assured that we’ve received it. We’re deeply appreciative of your support.

The Innocence Project works to free the innocent, prevent wrongful convictions, and create fair, compassionate, and equitable systems of justice for everyone. Founded in 1992 by Barry C. Scheck and Peter J. Neufeld at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University, the organization is now an independent nonprofit. Our work is guided by science and grounded in antiracism.
