It’s hard to believe another year has already come and gone. As the clock winds down on 2022, we wanted to take a moment to highlight all of the incredible work that Governor Holcomb and our team were able to accomplish this year for the people of Indiana. 

We made incredible strides in our plan to build One Indiana for All. 

Here’s a quick recap of what we accomplished.

GOVERNOR HOLCOMB’S ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TRIPS

Governor Holcomb has made it his mission to take Indiana to the world and bring the world to Indiana. Throughout the year, he did just that, making six economic development trips to strengthen ties with strategic partners, key allies, and job creators and build upon Indiana’s growing global reputation as an embracer of industries of the future.

2022 ECONOMIC UPDATES BY THE NUMBERS

But this year wasn’t just a success for building Indiana’s economic ties internationally. Governor Holcomb led a record-breaking effort here at home. 

     ✅ $22.2 billion in new capital investment commitments — a 260% increase!

     ✅ $111 million to support literacy 

     ✅ 218 companies committed to expanding/relocating in Indiana

     ✅ 24,059 new jobs for Hoosiers from those commitments

     ✅ 6th fastest population growth rate in the United States

     ✅ $1.1 billion income tax cut signed into law

     ✅ 3.0% unemployment rate

     ✅ $1.5 billion returned to Hoosier taxpayers

     ✅ $2.5 billion transferred to pay down debt

Governor Holcomb and our team are incredibly grateful that you continue to support the important work we’re doing for Indiana. 2022 was an incredible year, but Governor Holcomb is always looking ahead to how he can continue to grow our state and help Hoosiers.
