It is officially time to say goodbye to 2022. We had a good year here at ConservAmerica and we hope you did as well. During the 117th Congress, ConservAmerica worked with the Roosevelt Conservation Caucus, led by co-chairs Sens. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), and John Thune (R -SD) and Reps. Brian Mast (R-FL) and Buddy Carter (R-GA), to pursue conservative solutions to a litany of challenges including clean air and water, next generation affordable and lower-emission energy solutions, wildlife conservation, and access to public lands and waters. Through our work with the Roosevelt caucus, we worked especially hard to advance our legislative and regulatory advocacy goals. Here are some of this year’s highlights:
In addition to our legislative advocacy work, our team continued to advance ConservAmerica’s mission through public comment letters in response to agency rulemakings, op-eds, coalition building, amicus briefs, and the development of reports and a new webpage. It was a busy and productive year, and we are looking forward to what the new year, and new Congress will bring. We thank you all for your support of the development and advancement of sound energy, environmental and conservation policy; we could not do this important work without you. We hope you all are enjoying this holiday season and we wish you a safe and happy New Year. |
