A little less than two days ago, I reached out to ask for your help because at that time, we'd raised $5,425.92 toward our $10,000 year-end fundraising goal. [[link removed]]
I was overwhelmed by the response. Dozens of you pitched in to raise almost $2,000, bringing the current total to $7,389. It means more than I can express to know that so many of you are personally committed to this work.
We only have $2,611 left to raise to make our goal, but as I'm sure you can imagine, the overall need is far greater than the goal we set for this one campaign. And so, with just one day left in 2022 , I'm writing to ask you to help us keep the momentum going so we can jump into 2023 stronger than ever.

In 2022, together, we made such a difference in land use, housing and transportation policy [[link removed]] . We made big strides to strengthen our journalism. We brought hundreds of people together in-person to strengthen connections and plant the seeds of change. We made this happen, day to day, with a scrappy team of just seven full-time staff, four interns, lots of wonderful volunteers – thanks to the support of hundreds of individual donors.
In 2023, we've got even bigger goals in mind. And your support is what will make it possible.
