Dear Friend,
This last year we celebrated our 50 year anniversary as an agency. FIFTY YEARS! What began as a small group of women organizing became the longest running sexual and domestic violence hotline in history. Over the last 50+ years, POV has grown from a small group of women to over 70 staff and over 200 volunteers serving Los Angeles County and beyond. Our programs span emergency, intervention, counseling, legal advocacy, and prevention services impacting survivors of sexual and domestic violence and their families. Last year alone, we served more than 24,000 individuals - and the demand for our services continues to increase.
