Last week, Susan Collins gave Mitch McConnell the green light to move forward without witness testimony in the impeachment trial. Now, she’s trying to have it both ways. Here’s what Rachel Maddow has to say about that:
“A lot of people have turned blue and hurt themselves holding their breath waiting for Susan Collins to do something interesting in principle when she has raised the prospect that she might do so. She raises that prospect a lot, she very rarely actually does so.”

She’s right – we’re done waiting for Susan Collins to do the right thing. We’re done listening to her say she is “disappointed” and then falling in line behind McConnell and Trump.
