When I think of The Center and the role it has played for LGBTQ+ New Yorkers for 40 years, I am completely inspired by what our community can do together! We have been a haven for so many and through so much. Perseverance and pride are cemented into the walls of our home on West 13th Street—The Center is here and we are not going anywhere.

  • Estate Planning: We’ve given you free access to Giving Docs, an online platform to easily create your will. As you do, think about the causes you love—many thoughtful people like you have decided to use Giving Docs to leave a planned gift to The Center. (We can also be found on FreeWill by searching “The LGBT Community Center.”)
  • IRA Distributions: A popular gift option for people 70½ years or older, you can direct all or a portion of your IRA required minimum distribution to The Center, allowing you to avoid paying income taxes on the amount distributed while also supporting charities you care about.
