Jahana is entering an exciting yet challenging third term, and we’re already laying the groundwork for the next cycle. This was a closer race than anyone expected, and as Republicans take the House for the 118th Congress, we know that CT-05 will continue to be a top target.

It is surprising, but just a fact – dark money has changed the way we run elections, so we actually do need to start planning for Jahana’s re-election early.

Looking back at our finances, we spent almost everything we had to win this election, and I don’t want to cut it close again. If we can continue growing a sustainable, grassroots, small-dollar donor campaign now, we’ll be in a great position heading into 2023 and beyond.

We need to prepare for disingenuous GOP attack ads against Jahana’s record, just like they tried last time around. We need to be prepared to mobilize voters across CT-05 in just a few months.
