Give LGBTQ young people the acceptance, connection, hope, & love they need
Friend —
WOW!
It’s been an AMAZING week here at The Trevor Project! Every day, caring people like you have made such generous gifts. And every dollar supports our life-saving mission to provide 24/7/365 suicide prevention and crisis intervention services to LGBTQ young people going through a dark moment.
LGBTQ young people deserve to feel accepted and loved — every single one. That principle guides Trevor’s work. Unfortunately, many LGBTQ young people’s families and communites don’t affirm and support them. That’s why Trevor is here.
Our trained crisis counselors tell LGBTQ young people who reach out for help, “You're perfect just the way you are.” We give them hope. And with that hope, they can envision a brighter future.
That compassion can be life-saving: an LGBTQ young person who has at least one accepting adult in their life can be 40% less likely to attempt suicide.
