Our long-time friend Congressman Jamie Raskin has been diagnosed with a serious but curable form of cancer. He is beginning treatments immediately.

He plans to continue fighting for democracy during his treatment. He also still has his sense of humor, saying the treatment "causes hair loss and weight gain (although I am still holding out hope for the kind that causes hair gain and weight loss)."

Jamie says about his relationship with the PCCC: "The Progressive Change Campaign Committee was with me in my first race for Congress, and we are partners in fighting to defend our democracy and freedom today."
