If you know anything about me, folks, you know I hate making those damn fundraising calls.

I’d much rather be focused on doing my job in the Senate than stuck in a room dialing for dollars. But my finance team says I might be forced back on the phones if we don’t catch up to our goal soon — we can’t afford to fall short this time.

You see, folks, at the very beginning of next year, the FEC will release our fundraising numbers from 2022 to the public. It’s a huge test of our campaign’s strength. The FEC report will show the amount of money we raised and the number of people who contributed to our campaign. That means everyone will get to see the numbers we report and just how strong (or vulnerable) this campaign is.

With so many vulnerable Democrats up for re-election next cycle, it’s absolutely crucial that we show our grassroots strength and have the resources needed to respond to GOP misinformation and attacks.

Everything we raise through the end of this year will go a long way toward protecting our majority and delivering for the American people. Folks have been offline celebrating the holidays, so our fundraising has taken a hit — and that’s why I’m asking for your help now so we can get 2023 started on the right foot.

So can you pitch in any amount to help us make up ground and reach our end-of-year fundraising goal? If you pitch in before the deadline, you’ll get your name in our FEC report.

A lot of my colleagues don’t have the luxury of relying on grassroot supporters like you, and have to spend their time begging donors for money. With you on the team, I get to stay focused on the things that really matter. Thanks for having my back,

Jon
