2022 has been a whirlwind year for Democrats, and we should be so proud of everything we have accomplished over the last two years.

Without further ado, here’s a look back at some of the biggest bills we passed this session:

• The American Rescue Plan provided the COVID-19 relief money we needed to get us through the pandemic, such as vaccines, stimulus checks, financial security for small businesses, and expanded child tax credits.
• The Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill is the single largest investment in our nation’s infrastructure needs in more than a generation.
• The Inflation Reduction Act will make historic investments in clean energy while reducing the deficit and lowering everyday costs for Americans.
• The PACT Act helped to expand VA healthcare and benefits for veterans exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange, and other toxic substances.
• The CHIPS and Science Act will boost domestic research and manufacturing of semiconductors in the United States and create more jobs.
• The Bipartisan Safer Communities Act became the first major gun reform bill in decades to pass, helping invest in mental health and improve our gun safety laws.
• The Respect for Marriage Act codifies the rights of same-sex and interracial couples to get married as the law of the land.

While there is so much more we need to do to make sure everyone in this country has a fair shot at success, this legislative agenda is an important step in the right direction and is already having a positive impact on the lives of every single American.
