Behind every win is a story of collaboration and connection that make progress possible.
[link removed] [[link removed]] There are stories like The Columbus Promise, the education equity program imagined and created by NLC Columbus Chapter Leaders John Tannous (NLC Washington DC ‘16) and Zak Davidson (NLC Columbus ‘19) , the first universal free college program ever offered to new Columbus City School graduates. And in our Kentucky chapter, leaders used their platform, experience, and community connections to protect abortion access in their state by mobilizing with Protect Kentucky Access partners and knocking on 200 doors in Louisville and Lexington.
NLC alumni take the skillsets, mindsets, and networks gained in their local Institute to make an impact in the causes they care about. They actively expand equity in education, healthcare, and other sectors. They are the future, leading our democracy forward with collaboration and connection.

NLC alumni are making waves today, but their journey started years ago when they were Fellows in the NLC Institute. Because we invested in them then, our country can experience their impact now. [[link removed]] [[link removed]] And in January, we’ll renew our movement again by training even more Fellows, all at no cost to them. And with your generosity, these Fellows can access the key to their leadership journey: NLC.
There is no other organization like New Leaders Council. NLC is investing in people who are working every day to make a difference in their communities. And we are ready to catalyze the next generation of leaders with your ongoing support.
