Calling Gavin Newsom “moderate” can only be true if your perspective is somewhere left of the leftie left – so far left that you cannot see the moderate right with binoculars.  He may be less left than some of the unbelievable people that occupy the California Statehouse, but that does not make him “moderate.”  He may portray himself as pro-business, but that is because most businesses left in California are so far left, they forgot there is a right.  He may hold utterly inconsistent policy...

The Real Santos Related Scandal

So, turns out George Santos fudged his resume a bit in his election campaign.  I am trying to be euphemistically cute here – he lied.  But he is also right in that he did not commit a crime; people have been fudging resumes for a long time now.  Not to mention had it been a Democrat caught in this fashion we’d be reading and hearing a lot more about fudging and a lot less about lying.  All that notwithstanding what he did was not the action of someone that is fully, morally upright and outstanding.
