John, a lot has happened since I wrote to you earlier this month.

Since then, 450 people have started giving a little each month to help fund our work to defend the natural world – how wonderful is that?

Regular gifts are so important because they help us be ready for anything. We never know when we’ll have to launch an emergency campaign, or when we might have to defend ourselves in court against the climate-wrecking corporations we expose.

It’s great to see so many of you step up to help keep our movement strong. But we’re still 1,199 away from meeting our target. That’s why I’m asking for your help again – so we can continue to take the bold action we need to stop climate destroyers in their tracks.

We’re already looking ahead to 2023, and all the challenges it will bring. With the government failing time and time again to prioritise environmental protections, we’re prepared to do whatever it takes to stand up to them.

Around the world, our Unearthed investigators are working to break the next big story. As I type, we’re training the next generation of activists to intervene against polluting corporations and governments.

And as climate scientists’ worst predictions continue to play out in real life, we want to ramp up the pressure to properly protect our planet – from exposing oil companies to lobbying politicians to cement environmental protections into law.

Unlike many other organisations, we don’t take corporate or government donations, because we want to remain completely independent. We rely entirely on kind people like you to make our planet protecting work possible, so your donation today could make all the difference.
