I have so much to be grateful for as I look back on 2022, and this grassroots team is at the top of the list. I can’t overstate how much it means to know that you have our back through every challenge we face, year after year – even when the deck is stacked against us the most.

I can’t overstate how much it means to know that you have our back through every challenge we face, year after year – even when the deck is stacked against us the most.

Whenever I feel discouraged by the negativity in politics, I think about this movement and how much we’ve accomplished together, focusing on what unites us rather than divides us.

I’m more hopeful than ever, looking ahead to the New Year. But before we move forward, we have one last hurdle to clear: Our last public fundraising deadline of 2022 this Saturday.

To settle our final expenses after a hard-fought campaign, we set a $150,000 grassroots budget target. If we come up short and look weak when our numbers are made public after our December 31 deadline, it would be a huge setback right ahead of the 2023 legislative session.

According to our fundraising team, we’re still missing your support this year, so I’m following up personally again today to ask for your help.

If you can, will you pitch in $5 or whatever works best for you today? We still need to raise more than $50,000 between now and Saturday, so your immediate support is critical.

Thank you so much for everything you do for our state and entire country.

I’m grateful,

Tim Walz
