First, Kevin McCarthy will have to survive a leadership challenge from his right flank — with hardly a single vote to spare for House Speaker.  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

Adam Schiff for Congress

Things are about to get really weird, John:

In 5 days, the new Congress will be sworn in, and Republicans will formally take the House majority.

It’s going to be absolute chaos.

First, Kevin McCarthy will have to survive a leadership challenge from his right flank — with hardly a single vote to spare for House Speaker.

He’ll have to cave, doing and saying even more incredibly absurd stuff to ingratiate himself with Matt Gaetz, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and the QAnon fringe whose votes he’s relying on to take the top spot.

Then he’s going to follow through on his campaign promise to kick Adam off the Intelligence Committee as retribution for Democrats removing Marjorie Taylor Greene.

It’s an apples-to-oranges comparison, if there ever was one. Greene removed from her committees for encouraging violence against other members, and Adam removed from his committee for impeaching a corrupt president. Sure, that makes sense.

So John, will you pitch in right now to help us be prepared to respond to the utter turmoil and unhinged attacks against Adam next week by helping us hit our final FEC deadline fundraising goal?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Thanks for having Adam’s back — at times like this, your support means the world.
