Dear John,

As the year draws to a close, I hope you are able to get some down time and enjoy the holiday season with loved ones.

I wanted to email you one last time in 2022 to say thank you for supporting the Fraser Institute.

Whether you support us financially, or by sharing our work on social media, or simply by staying tuned in to our studies and commentaries each week, thank you for contributing to our continued success.

What success, specifically? I’m glad you asked!

In 2022 alone, we produced over 90 expert, peer-reviewed studies.

Those studies led to the placement of over 3,700 op-eds in newspapers across the country – that’s an average of 12 every single day of the year!

We have also welcomed 2.6 million unique users to our websites, and reached a massive combined audience of over 53.7 million people on social media!

Combine all that with the regular appearances of our many researchers on radio and TV shows every week, and the Fraser Institute has had one of our most successful years on record! So again, thank you for your support.

I believe that with an increased understanding of the impact of current government policies, Canadians will ultimately be better able to ensure that their elected representatives pursue policies that are more responsible, and that will create a better and wealthier Canada for all Canadians.

That is what motivates me and the entire Fraser Institute team to come to work every day.

As you probably know, John, we receive no government money and don’t do any contract research. We rely entirely on our supporters – people like you!

If you are able to, please make a donation today [[link removed][campaignid]].

With your help, we can continue to educate Canadians about what policies are needed to ensure a better country.

And, of course, we’ll continue to push back against special interest groups peddling wildly exaggerated fears and damaging economic policies!

Thank you so much for your continued support, and best wishes for a happy and prosperous 2023.

Sincerely,

Niels Veldhuis

President

The Fraser Institute

PS: Did you know that a donation to the Fraser Institute entitles you to a generous tax credit at tax time? But you must donate before December 31 to get yours – donate today! [[link removed][campaignid]]
