Let’s step into the new year with renewed optimism for making our world a better place for someone who uses drugs.

 ,

Wishing you a happy New Year ahead!

What a year 2022 has been! We reached many milestones, including hosting our biennial conference in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and the federal government’s allocation of significant funding for harm reduction, just to name a few. We had many achievements and challenges, yet consistent through it all was the vision of NHRC and our movement that supports the health and dignity of people who use drugs.

Our mission, to heal the harms caused by racialized drug policies, may be ambitious – but I am confident we can make it happen. Let’s step into the new year with renewed optimism to make our world a better place.

We’re closing 2022 by saying thank you, from our NHRC family to yours. Our work is made possible because of people like you. We’re hopeful for what the future brings for thousands nationwide who use drugs.

Thank you,

Dr. Anthony Salandy
Senior Director of Development and Business Strategy
National Harm Reduction Coalition

P.S. Start the new year with a commitment to help us through 2023! Become an NHRC Champion! “Champions” is a community of monthly givers dedicated to advancing our mission. Like harm reduction itself, we’ll “meet you where you’re at” and welcome giving at any level – just click the “monthly” tab at the top of the donate form. Thank you!
