I’m proud to wrap up my first term as your Congresswoman by delivering major victories for South Sound families.

In the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) passed earlier this month, I worked to improve compensation and housing support for military servicemembers and their families, including removing barriers for servicemembers facing gender or racial discrimination.

The NDAA also reauthorized construction for the Howard A. Hanson Dam Additional Water Storage Project. This will provide additional drinking water storage for the South Sound, enhance the Dam’s critical flood control mission, and open over 100 miles of the Green River as salmon habitat.

Kevin McCarthy, Jim Jordan, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Matt Gaetz have promised an extremist agenda and two years of partisan obstruction. They want to launch sham investigations, weaken our economy, and threaten our rights.
