Dear Friend,

I wish I could say that most of our challenges are in the "real
view mirror" now. But the struggle is still very real here.
Rampant inflation and supply chain issues are making it difficult to
accomplish our mission to save every animal who needs us.

Even with these difficulties, we treated and cared for so many
essential animals this year. These animals make life possible for
people here as they work the fields or carry goods such as huge sacks
of grain filled to bursting, propane tanks, bolts of fabric,
construction materials and anything else you can imagine through the
dusty, narrow
streets of Fez, Morocco.

We've taken in donkeys, mules and horses with everything from
severe cases of malnourishment, to trauma left untreated - and
huge tumors that would have been excised long before had the animals
been in the U.S.
