We’re nearing the end of 2022,
my
friends, and it’s time to make a choice.
As millions of people face war, drought, and
poverty, those of us who care about building a brighter future must show
up and act to make this vision a reality. A more resilient, inclusive
future is within reach — if we each continue to do our part.
With just two days remaining in 2022, [ [link removed] ]will you help us meet our final
Matching Gift Challenge goal with your year-end, tax-deductible matching
gift right now?
A group of generous donors has already given $400,000 to encourage our
community of givers to make a matching gift before the new year — and time
is running out!

Severe drought in Kenya has made growing crops difficult for Abongon
Echwa, 27. She was able to buy food for herself and her six children using
Mercy Corps emergency cash.
Looking ahead to 2023, Mercy Corps will take on the growing threats of
conflict and climate change — in partnership with people who live and work
in communities most at risk.
Together, we prioritize four outcomes that determine people’s wellbeing:
food security, water security, economic opportunities, and peace and good
governance.
In practice, this means supporting community-led soil management
techniques. It means developing early warning systems to prepare for
floods. It means providing business training and financial services for
women entrepreneurs. It means helping young people find nonviolent
alternatives to resolving local conflicts. And so much more.
[ [link removed] ]To support this kind of locally led impact in 40+ countries, please
make your year-end, tax-deductible MATCHING gift today.

P.S. We know you’re hearing a lot from us these days. The reason is
simple: Every dollar we raise right now helps the people we work with
protect their families and improve their lives. If you’ve already made
your gift (thank you!) or would rather not get our year-end emails,
