Although 2022 feels like it started just yesterday, it was our busiest year yet. We were focused on the election, the protests in Iran, furthering our goals on Capitol Hill, fighting for the Iranian Americans, and building community wherever and whenever possible.

the
humanitarian
harms
of
sanctions
in
the
midst
of
a
pandemic.

Mobilized
our
grassroots
to
support
multilateral
actions
like

UN
fact-finding
mission.

*
Published
more
than
50
Human
Rights
Trackers

the
human
rights
in
Iran.

We
organized

bringing
our
people

voter

and
expert
panels
on
issues
affecting
our

Pride
Open
Mic
that
brought
together
Iranian
Americans
from
all
over
the
country
to
share
their
stories
and
celebrate
their
identity.

thousands
of
supporters

EAGLE
Act
which
would
have
prolonged
wait
times
for
visas.

Endorsed
and
helped
elect
a
record-number
of
Iranian-American
women
to
office.

Expanded
our
grassroots
chapters
in
key
cities
across
the
country
,
including
opening
our
New
Jersey
chapter.

Scheduled

volunteer-led
meetings
between
our
members
and
their
members
of
Congress
to
educate
them
and
advocate
on
the
issues
impacting
the
Iranian-American
community.

NIAC

NIAC

Academies
to
build
a
pipeline

a

generation
of
Iranian
Americans
into
elected
office
and
careers
in
public
service.
