volunteer
attorneys
and
interpreters
with
Afghans
to
help
prepare
their
asylum
applications.
From
here,
they
can
obtain
employment
and
later
apply
for
permanent
status.

Filed
a
lawsuit
to
force
U.S.
Citizenship
and
Immigration
Services
to
explain
why
there
are
massive
delays
in
processing
Afghans’
humanitarian
parole
applications.

Advocated
for
the
introduction
of
the
Afghan
Adjustment
Act
alongside
the
Evacuate
Our
Allies
coalition,
participated
in
congressional
briefings,
and
continue
to
advocate
for
policies
to
support
Afghans
evacuees.

Worked
with
Colorado
Governor
Polis
to
write
and
send
a
letter
to
Congress
on
the
importance
of
passing
the
Afghan
Adjustment
Act.
