Hey John — I hope you’re enjoying a pleasant holiday season. I took a quick break from spending time with my family and friends to write you this brief email and I hope you take a minute of your day to read it.

To be frank, John, this is a pivotal time in CREW's fight to hold corrupt politicians accountable for their abuses of power.

As we’ve said before, in the last few months, Donald Trump announced he was running for president again and Republicans regained the majority in the House—meaning we can expect all efforts to investigate the Jan. 6 insurrection to come to a screeching halt when the next Congress is seated.

Going into 2023, we’re going to have tough fights ahead to protect our democracy and hold seditious politicians like Donald Trump accountable for their corruption. So, before 2023, I’m asking you, as one of our most important supporters, to help us prepare for them by contributing now to support our work defending American democracy.
