Massacres in Uvalde and Colorado Springs horrified the nation this year, but those were just two of the 620 mass shootings that occurred across the country. We can't predict what next year will bring, but we know the gun lobby will continue to obstruct life-saving policies like expanded background checks and a ban on military-style assault weapons.
