I wanted to share a quick update on our team’s progress toward our goal as we close in on our final FEC fundraising deadline of 2022. 

We set out to raise a fairly modest $20,000 before we close out the year. Right now, we're sitting right around $6,200 raised.

We have some work to do, but if just 1 out of every 5 supporters reading this email makes a donation, we will easily hit this goal before ringing in the new year. Please chip in a donation – of any size – to help us end 2022 on a high note.

Here’s why this goal matters: 

For better or worse, pundits are going to use our end-of-year numbers to determine the strength of our movement. I'm not keen on listening to the judgments of the media, but the truth is that showing sustained momentum will bolster our standing, and can help ward off potential Republican challengers.

On the other hand, a less than stellar report could put an early target on our backs. After everything we accomplished, and all the work we're about to do to bring down health care costs, address the climate crisis, and protect reproductive freedom, I'm not ready to cede any ground.
