I can’t believe the year is coming to an end.

This was a big year for Michigan Democrats.

Republicans didn’t like that we beat them fair and square in 2020, so they attacked our elections relentlessly throughout the entire midterm election cycle to try and win.

The MIGOP supported candidates who were at the January 6th insurrection, spread lies about nonexistent voter fraud, and championed bills that would put up barriers to the ballot box for voters across Michigan. 

Team, thanks to your support, we fought back and we won. 

Not only did we defeat 3 major election deniers at the top of the ticket to reelect our Governor, Secretary of State, and Attorney General, but we organized at the local level to stop election deniers and flip the state legislature blue.

Many of the election deniers on the ballot last month were hand-picked by former president Donald Trump himself. He thought the same cries of election fraud would win in 2022, but Michigan voters stood up and turned out to fight for democracy. 

I know that Trump isn’t done with Michigan yet. Michigan will be a top target for Trump along the presidential campaign trail, which is why we need to keep working to organize, train, and build to help Michigan Democrats win.

When we come together, Team, we win together.
