John --

Later today, we will officially kick off the 2020 legislative session, my fourth session as a member of the Arizona State Senate.

I am excited to get back to work, and eager to hear from the governor this afternoon about his plans in his State of the State address.

You have no doubt heard about some of the interesting bills that have already been filed so far, and there are sure to be more bills introduced that would take our state in the wrong direction.

I will be hard at work this session not only stopping those same bad bills, but also fighting for our K-12 schools, higher education, and more mental health support for our students.

I have about a dozen bills that I am working on that will be introduced in the coming weeks - stay tuned.

You can follow me on Facebook <[link removed]> and Twitter <[link removed]> for more updates, and stay tuned for my weekly email capitol updates each week to learn more about what's going on at the state capitol.

I am forever blessed to represent District 18 in the state senate, and will be thinking about all of the hard work that got us here today.

Thank you for your continued support of our efforts <[link removed]>, and I look forward to working harder than ever in 2020 to keep us moving forward.

Sean
