They flopped. They won a bare majority, and even that, only because of a skewed GOP gerrymander.
Democrats had our best Senate midterm during a Democratic presidency since 1934 — when Democrats picked up Senate seats in the first midterm of President Roosevelt’s New Deal.
Yes — voters responded to competence, to normalcy, to Democrats’ ability to pass big, bold, progressive legislation and strike bipartisan compromise on infrastructure, on manufacturing, on marriage equality.
Especially after four-plus years of chaos with the former guy.

There’s no better time to start building the infrastructure to take back the House — and defend the White House and Senate — than right now.
