It's been a while since I emailed you. [link removed]
Friend, how have you been?
Since the election, I've been spending time with my family, holding town halls
in the district, and continuing my work in Congress. (And catching a few Vikings
games in between!)
I hope you've enjoyed some quieter times and a break from the political fray. I
haven't emailed you in a while, but it's time to ask: Can I count on you to help keep building the progress we're making together? Our final fundraising deadline of the year is midnight Saturday, so I'm humbly asking you to chip in to help us reach our $20,000 goal. [link removed] CONTRIBUTE NOW [link removed]
The midterm elections made it clear: No matter our politics, most Americans want
to live in a functioning democracy where we all have the freedom to shape our
futures and live in peace. It's an honor to be able to represent you in Congress
to further secure those freedoms every day.
One of my proudest accomplishments of the last few weeks was passing the Respect for Marriage Act-- a bill I co-sponsored and that so many of you signed on to support. This new
law recognizes the right of every American to build a life with the person they
love, and that's no small thing.
Just as I believe every American should be able to marry the person they love, I
believe everyone should be able to make their own decisions about their
reproductive health. The fight to restore reproductive freedom to all Americans,
no matter what state they're in, is one I'm committed to for the long haul.
I am so proud to represent the most engaged, civically minded districts in the
country. Thank you for all your support so far. If you can, please chip in before our end-of-year deadline to keep the movement we're building strong in 2023. [link removed]
