Dear Supporter,

Federal bureaucrats wasted your tax dollars on a big party last year and they’re determined do it all over again in just a few weeks so we need your help to stop them.

Ottawa spent over $12,000 on its annual bureaucrat red-carpet gala last February. The frivolous party featured a tuxedoed host, velvet ropes, fancy foods and engraved crystal awards – all paid for with your tax dollars.

You can read the details by clicking HERE (with a big thank you to Blacklock’s Reporter – one of the few independent media sites that takes no taxpayer handouts – for uncovering this important information)

But even though the cat’s out of the bag, the government doesn’t seem to care.

They’ve said they’re going ahead anyway with a plan to waste your money on another red carpet gala in a few weeks!

We need to give them an earful and let them know that taxpayers won’t tolerate this kind of frivolous spending.

They need to cancel this party, full stop.

Can you take five minutes to send Canada’s top bureaucrat, Ian Shugart, a message and tell him to cancel this year’s red-carpet gala by emailing this address: [email protected]

Too many Ottawa bureaucrats think this kind of waste doesn’t matter. But a big reason we have a $26-billion deficit is precisely because of thousands of stupid decisions like this. We need to send Ottawa a clear message.

Taxpayers shouldn’t be forced to pay for bureaucrats’ fancy night-out – so let’s get it canceled.

Thanks for standing up for taxpayers – it’s making a difference!

Sincerely,
  • Aaron, Shannon, Todd and the rest of the CTF team.
