The Arlington School Board has initiated a search for a new superintendent, and is seeking your input on desired qualifications for the new hire. Community input will be used to assist the board in developing an in-depth profile for the position, and identifying a highly qualified leader who will enhance the board’s positive culture of learning, and promote excellence and equity for all students.

The School Board invites you to share your input at any of the four open Community Forums on:

This month’s Small Business Roundtable topic is “How Small Business Owners Can Avoid Costly Mistakes” presented by Jay E. Reiner CPA. During this presentation, Reiner will discuss things to consider to help you maintain your business accounting records, and to help you save tax money. If you’ve been a W-2 employee and are now an independent contractor/small business owner, there are record keeping and tax requirements that you may not have thought of, but will need your attention. Come to this informative event to get your tax related questions answered!

Those present at the event have the opportunity to win door prizes, and there's also a cash jackpot for members only. Members have the opportunity to donate a door prize that all attendees will be eligible to win.
