Here’s our most recent update: * Even though our work helped make history… by overturning Roe v. Wade, stopping Drag Queen and other sexually perverted influences from changing our teaching standards, and keeping “IN GOD WE TRUST” in our schools, we have not met the fundraising goals to support this work. With little time left to raise funds, we find our financial resources are lower than needed as we end 2022. To make sure our work is well-funded as we head into the 2023 Texas Legislative Session, we ask that you make your most generous donation today! In this Christmas season, an unexpected challenge arose -- an almost two (2) week battle to “Keep Christ in Christmas” in Taylor, Texas. When we stepped up against Drag Queens and the City of Taylor, we focused on protecting religious freedom and decided we would have to raise the money later to support this work. Texas Values led this issue to a victory (for now). This is what we do so often. We run to the fight and execute our best strategy to be the voice and force for Christian values. Then later do our best to recoup the resources -- after we achieve victory. This is why we urgently need your help now. Moving into 2023, Texas Values Action, our advocacy branch, is committed to having ‘boots on the ground’ with our staff at the Texas Capitol every day during the upcoming legislative session. We have a great deal to prepare for in the year ahead! Can Texas Values Action be successful with your help? Remember this - in the past five (5) Texas Legislative Sessions, Texas Values Action has led the effort to pass pro-life and religious liberty laws including most recently the life-saving Texas Heartbeat law. We also had a 90% win rate in the primary election and 82% win rate in the general election on the candidates we endorsed through Texas Values Action. As we gear up for the 2023 Texas Legislative Session that starts January 10th, over 700 bills have already been filed. We have met with many State Representatives and Senators to give them advice on certain bills to help protect Faith, Family, and Freedom. We are already preparing for our 2023 Texas Faith & Family Day at the Texas Capitol, and we want you to be there with us! As the largest Texas-based, faith, and family policy organization, we work hard to squeeze the most out of every dollar entrusted to us. Our annual budget is $2 million and we still need to raise $400,000 by year’s end. We are blessed to have received a $50,000 matching grant that will double your gift to Texas Values -- if made by midnight on December 31st. - Texas Values, our 501(c)(3), needs to raise $300,000.
